Before race day, before the crowds fill the streets of Boston, there are five runners, each with their own reason to join the One Summit team to take on the challenge of training and completing the 130th Bank of America Boston Marathon.

Meet our team and their “WHY.”

Lauren runs with intention.

Her story is rooted in connection, the kind that comes from witnessing what One Summit creates in real time. She’s seen how a single day, a single climb, can shift a child’s belief in themselves.

Noah runs with perspective.

Like many who join One Summit, something along the way changed him, an interaction, a story, a realization that resilience isn’t abstract. It’s lived. He carries that with him every mile. It becomes personal.

Cade runs with drive.

There’s a quiet determination behind every step a willingness to push through discomfort, and push harder knowing it serves something bigger, like Maddy. And on race day, that mindset will carry him forward.

Brooke runs with heart.

Her connection to the mission is rooted in compassion—in the belief that no child or family should feel alone in their fight. She runs to support, to uplift, to give back. Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can offer someone is to stand beside them.

Louis runs with purpose.

He understands that resilience is built, not given—and that the experiences One Summit creates can shape how a child sees themselves long after treatment and how his teammates see themselves through service. Every mile he runs is an investment in that transformation.

These runners are putting in the miles, now they need us behind them. Support the One Summit team and help them reach their fundraising goal. Your gift makes resilience possible for every child and family we serve.
